Lamar Young is the Technical Manager at Specialty Coating Systems, Inc. His focus includes providing technical support for the sales and global distribution of Parylene raw materials and the developing and testing of new Parylene dimers and films. Lamar has been in the electronic industry for over 25 years, with experience in designing and supporting conformal coating equipment (spray, dip, spin and vapor deposition systems, and UV and thermal cure ovens), developing and improving Parylene coating processes, and managing the SCS’ dimer product line.  Lamar has a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
